To accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the lighting industry through the role of design, enhance the core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of enterprises, and stimulate the application value of ceramics in lighting, Guzhen Town in Zhongshan City,?renowned as the “China’s Lighting Capital”, will host the 2024 Guzhen Lighting Design Competition?of the Zhongshan Industrial Design Competition. Entries will be accepted from now until October 29, 2024, from both domestic and international participants.?

為加快推進燈飾照明產(chǎn)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)型升級，充分發(fā)揮工業(yè)設(shè)計對產(chǎn)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)型升級的推動作用，增強企業(yè)的核心競爭力和可持續(xù)發(fā)展能力，同時為激發(fā)陶瓷在燈飾中的應(yīng)用價值，“中國燈都”中山古鎮(zhèn)鎮(zhèn)將舉辦2024中山市工業(yè)設(shè)計大賽古鎮(zhèn)燈飾照明設(shè)計專項賽, 由即日起至2024年10月29日，面向海內(nèi)外征集作品。

The competition is divided into conceptual design and product design categories, with lighting and lighting fixture products within the scope of participation. Entries must comply with China's national industrial policies and relevant technologies and standards, and should embody low - carbon, green, and environmentally - friendly design concepts. Also, they need?to show significant innovation in functionality, structure, technology, form, materials, craftsmanship, energy conservation, and environmental protection.

大賽分為概念設(shè)計組，產(chǎn)品設(shè)計組，?參賽范圍包括照明、燈具產(chǎn)品。參賽作品須符合中國的國家產(chǎn)業(yè)政策及有關(guān)技術(shù)、標準等規(guī)定，符合低碳、綠色、環(huán)保設(shè)計理念，在功能、結(jié)構(gòu)、技術(shù)、形態(tài)、材料、工藝、節(jié)能、環(huán)保等方面有較大創(chuàng)新。
