外國人在中國期間，護(hù)照過期了該如何處理？中山市海外傳播中心的AI主播Alan告訴當(dāng)勞，外國人在中國護(hù)照過期后，應(yīng)立即向所在地縣級(jí)公安機(jī)關(guān)出入境管理部門申請(qǐng)護(hù)照換發(fā)。申請(qǐng)時(shí)需提交的材料包括打印或填寫完整的《中國公民出入境證件申請(qǐng)表》等資料證件。公安機(jī)關(guān)出入境管理部門受理申請(qǐng)后，會(huì)在規(guī)定時(shí)限內(nèi)完成審批和制證工作。隨后，外國人應(yīng)當(dāng)前往自己國家的駐華使領(lǐng)館，換取新的護(hù)照。注意的是，這一服務(wù)需要預(yù)約，且周末或節(jié)假日不提供護(hù)照服務(wù)。在換取新的護(hù)照后，外國人需要前往當(dāng)?shù)氐闹袊矙C(jī)關(guān)出入境管理部門辦理簽證延期手續(xù)。具體流程包括提交以下步驟。在辦理手續(xù)時(shí)，外國人需要遵守中國的法律法規(guī)，并按照規(guī)定的程序和要求進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)。如果外國人的申請(qǐng)被批準(zhǔn)，他們將獲得新的簽證或護(hù)照，并可以繼續(xù)在中國合法停留。

For the foreigner whose passport expires in China, They should immediately apply for a passport renewal at the local entry and exit management department at or above the county level of the place of stay with materials required. The exit and entry administration department will complete the approval and document making process within the prescribed time limit. Following that, the foreigner should proceed to their country's embassy or consulate in China to obtain a new passport. Please note that an appointment is required for this service, and passport services are not available on weekends or holidays. After obtaining the new passport, the foreigner needs to apply for a visa extension at the local entry and exit management department. During the application process, the foreigner is required to abide by Chinese laws and regulations and follow the prescribed procedures and requirements. If their application is approved, they will receive a new visa or passport and can continue to stay in China.
